Postcard 3A-H1520 of the Carnegie Library, Greenville, Ohio. Postcards with the backside split for correspondence and addresses were printed after 1907. Postcards began being printed in the United States and imported from Great Britian after 1915. Postcards printed with a white border dates between 1915 and 1930. Postcards with texture like woven line were printed between 1930-1944. This photo on this postcard is a reproduction, not a real photo postcard. Front: Photo is circa 1912-1942 based on Memorial Hall (1912) in the background and the Gunckle cannon on the lawn (1907-1942). Back: Postcard for the commemorative of the grand opening and open house of the renovated Greenville Public Library Sunday, September 21, 2008. Given by the Friends of the Greenville Public Library. McClurg's Book Store, Greenville, Ohio. McClurg's Book Store was in Greenville 1952-1972. Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. Art-Colortone" Post card (Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.) No postmark. |
